For the boys of the MacKinnon household, hot sauce is not a mere condiment or even a fancy accoutrement. It is an obsession, a lifestyle choice, a commitment!

Their kitchen is "decorated" with countless empty hot sauce bottles. To the uninitiated, it is a chaotic, eye-popping menagerie of stained glass. But to the Hot Sauce Boys, their kitchen is a walk-in trophy case of spicy conquests each bottle representing a culinary milestone in thier search for the Holy Grail of Hot Sauce.

In that hollowed shrine of a kitchen, hot sauces from all over the world were tasted and mixed, dipped and dunked, stirred and steeped, decanted and recounted.

However, time and again, the Boys continued to be disappointed by the predictable similarities that they encountered: either unbearable heat, lacking in flavor; or salty, vinigary whimpiness. Something had to be done. Taste had to be revived for hot sauce lovers everywhere.

With their wealth of experience and zeal for results, the Hot Sauce Boys picked up the guantlet and spent years more working in pursuit of creating the perfect hot sauce with the right balance of flavour and heat that today makes their sauce so delicious, so uncompromising and, yes, so addicting, it would forever be known as "the habit forming hot sauce".
